DJ4U was nothing but amazing for our wedding. They have a perfect system to completely plan out how you want your event to go and what your specific music choices are. Gary was our DJ and he did such a great job of matching the vibe for the entire night. He was so much fun and so kind! We also got a photo booth package and it was such a great way to get more fun pictures of our guests! My husband and I cannot express our gratitude enough to DJ4U for providing exceptional service from beginning to end.

The ability to plan each song for the ceremony, special dances, reception, and create an overall timeline, was so easy. Josh was our DJ and was perfect for our wedding! He was an absolute professional. He kept the dance floor going all night long, made announcements that we asked for at the right time, and was an all around pleasure to work with. DJ4U's online portal where you upload all of the information about your event timeline and include songs you want played and songs you do not want played really helped to make sure the DJ understood the vibe we were going for. Additionally, the sound at the ceremony was also fantastic. We have been to many weddings where it's difficult to hear the vows, but we had no problems at all. Our officiant also said that Josh was great to work with for testing the wearable mic. We were a little nervous that we didn't meet our assigned DJ until a few days before the wedding, but the online portal really sets this up to not be a problem at all. I will say that some of the communication leading up to the wedding was disappointing. We are a lesbian couple and the online portal lists everything as "bride" and "groom." They are certainly not the only company in the wedding industry to do this, but when we voiced our complaint about this to our main contact (the director of operations) she just thanked us for bringing it to their attention and said they've requested this feature from their vendor in the past. At no point did she apologize. This is a really shitty part of the wedding industry and every other vendor we mentioned it to apologized immediately and tried to quickly fix the problem, but DJ4U didn't seem to care all that much. Similarly, when we later asked a question about a mic for our officiant, she assumed our officiant was a man and said "he"-- our officiant was a woman and it seems odd to assume it would be a man. So overall, DJ4U was absolutely fantastic on the actual day of our wedding, and had good communication leading up to our date, but I would have expected better regarding gender from the director of operations.

Jason was our emcee/DJ for the evening at our daughter's wedding reception. He is a veteran and knows how to keep the party flowing. Managed every reception formality (cake cutting, first dances, introductions, etc) seamlessly and played all the couple's favorite dance music. Provides survey in advance and schedules a pre-event phone call to discuss how the couple wants things done. I know he trains his staff to be as professional as he is, so no matter which DJ you have, you are sure to have a similar experience. We also used their photo booth. Although as mother of the bride I tried to poo-poo that idea, they did it LOL and it was well used and enjoyed by everyone. They provided a keepsake album of all the photos at the end of the evening and that was a nice gift for my daughter and son-in-law. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend DJ4U. I believe they are most likely the best in the Peoria area.

We booked DJ4U for our wedding on September 10th, after being referred by a friend. Chase was amazing to work with! He stuck to what we wanted, even when other vendors suggested differently. Everyone on the dance floor was asking about who we booked! The dancing never stopped. Chase was a fantastic MC and we were very impressed by how smoothly the night went.

Justin was the most professional DJ! Our dance floor was packed all night long! We provided some of the songs for the playlist and he did the rest! He took my special requests, played them in the order we wanted and allowed my nephew to sing a karaoke song (and even checked with me first to make sure it was ok!). We hired DJ4U for our wedding ceremony and reception and I cannot rave highly enough about them. They knocked everything out of the park and completely exceeded my expectations. For our ceremony sound, we had DJ music for some of the processional, followed by some of our guests playing live music, then microphones for the officiant and readers, and then more selected music for the recessional. Everything went incredibly smoothly and sounded great. I should also say that I probably had some unique requests for our cocktail hour and reception. We had put together particular playlists for the cocktail hour and dinner hours and the DJ4U staff happily played those for us. For the reception, we had several unique requests that not only did Justin, our lead DJ, follow through with, but he also genuinely got excited about them and owned them and they worked out great. I cannot be happy enough with choosing DJ4U for our wedding ceremony and reception sound and DJ music. They were very professional throughout all aspects and made our wedding day extra special.

DJ4U was absolutely great on our big day. Laura was so easy to communicate with and helped us make changes to our contract along the way and was also super helpful by letting us reschedule during COVID with no additional fees added. We LOVED Mike from DJ4U. We had a big Lebanese American wedding and had very specific instructions for our entrance/the Arabic music we played and he was so responsive, so attentive, and very nice. We were a pretty demanding couple lol for both the English and Arabic and he took all of our requests. Loved the website where you could build your must play playlist and everything else. Very professional and easy to work with!

Cosme was our DJ at our wedding last night and let me tell you, he is one the reasons our wedding was the best day of my husband and my life. From the moment the first song came on, the dance floor was packed all the way until the end of the night. He took the songs we loved and was able to create an amazing playlist that fit the atmosphere of our guests. He was personable, organized, fun, and professional. The students had a blast at our Barnyard Bash Fall Dance! Justin Lane always does an awesome job interacting with students and engaging high levels of energy. He encourages the students to the dance floor and asks them to come to the front by the stage to get them amped up with the music. His ability to incorporate a musical buildup with the high energy of the students is fantastic! We love having Justin as our DJ lead...he is the perfect face of the company with professionalism, high intensity interaction, and selection of appropriate music for the age group. And, as a bonus, Justin knew Gus H. was creating a StuCo dance video of the event and he helped Gus by playing group songs and rounding students up to the front or in a dance circle situation to aid in the taping of the evening. True professionals! My wife and I used DJ4U for our wedding in 2014. From the initial conversation to the event itself, everyone we worked with was wonderful. We never felt like we were annoying their staff with questions. I know we were in communication in the day or two prior to the reception with those final details and each and every item was handled to perfection.

We told our DJ the vibe we wanted for the reception, but also to have some fun and play off the crowd and he knew exactly what we were looking for and nailed it. The dance floor was full the entire night.

Josh was the lead DJ at our wedding and he did great! Our dance floor was full all night and so many guests have commented on how great the music selection was! We also had their photo booth, which was a hit. We have so many fun memories from the photobooth!

We’re so glad we went with DJ4U for our wedding reception! They made everything so easy and we didn’t have to worry about a thing! We have been to several weddings where the reception wasn’t too lively because of the music selection, so I was a little nervous to make the decision on a DJ but everything turned out perfectly! It was a great selection of music and our guests really enjoyed it! We also loved the online planning tool that allowed us to make playlists!

We could not be more happy with DJ4U. They were so easy to work with and they cater to exactly what you want. Our music was a perfect combination of the music we requested and songs the DJs played that fit our genre. Mike and Josh were my DJs and they were so kind and good at their jobs! There is absolutely no better choice for a DJ in Central Illinois! They are wonderful to work with, make the planning so easy with the online program and had people dancing the whole night! The personal phone call with your DJ the week of the wedding ensures everything will go smoothly. The online program allows for as much control over your music as you want-- choosing what must be played, should be played if possible, and not played. For the most part, we put the trust in our DJ to play the songs he thought fit the crowd, and Justin nailed it! It was a wonderful night and everyone had a blast! We also used DJ4U for a photobooth. This was the perfect addition to our reception! Not only did everyone have a blast, but both they and we got the perfect takeaway! We loved looking back at all the photos everyone took! They were great!! We did the package with the photo booth so we had two people from DJ4U at our reception. All of the music we requested was played and they did a great job switching it up from slow to fast songs to give the reception a variation of music.
